With the Appalachian League season set to begin tonight, the Danville Braves opened their gates for fans to introduce them to the 2019 roster. The players sat down right in front of the front gate and signed autographs for fans before hitting the field for some on-field work. D-Braves fans were introduced to the new manager, Anthony Nuñez, the new members of the squad from the 2019 Draft, including second-round pick Beau Philip from Oregon State. The Braves host the Princeton Rays tonight at Dan Daniel Memorial Park at 6:30 to open the 2019 summer. Danville will play at home every day through Sunday before hitting the road for the first time, traveling to Bluefield next Tuesday.
