Music on Main returns to Main Street Plaza for a summer full of music down by the river.
The free music series kicks off Thursday with the jazz-stylings of Small Town Orchestra. All shows start at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at 111 Main Street, adjacent to JTI Fountain. In the event of rain, concerts will be moved to the Carrington Pavilion located at 667 Craghead St.
This year’s series will feature two shows per month through August. Show dates include:
Today: Small Town Orchestra; jazz
June 27: Wayne Euliss; Elvis tribute show
July 11: Cruize Control Band; beach, boogie and blues
July 25: Jus’ Cauze Band; bluegrass
Aug. 8: Define Jazz; jazz
Aug. 22: Rivermist Band; classic rock and variety
