Evil Democrats? You make the call

To the editor:

Assertions denouncing the Democratic Party as being “evil” are emerging frequently in media today, especially on the local level.

The sole purpose of this letter is to create an awareness in the reader as to why these authors and others have come to rationalize these convictions and why they are concerned. In no way does this letter seek to sanction or endorse these allegations, or to vilify or denigrate the Democratic Party.

First, those on the left promoting “change” apply principles founded on Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” Barack Obama, as a law professor, instructed in these principles, while presidential candidate Hillary Clinton wrote a thesis on Alinsky’s principles while in college. “Rules for Radicals” is a philosophy of community organization that many argue is overly ideological and artificially stimulates conflict. Alinsky’s principles are utilized to produce an imaginary enemy for an intended target group to conflict with. Most significant for those making the “evil” proclamations, “Rules for Radicals” is dedicated to Lucifer.

Then there are government factions of the Democratic Party that passed legislation into their state’s constitution(s) making it a crime to provide medical assistance for newborn’s struggling to live. For those invoking the “evil” label, such phenomena are far-removed from their mind’s capacity to grasp such logic; leaving them to ponder what species of humanity would support such a political ideology, especially when one considers that these factions rewarded themselves with a standing ovation afterward?

They envision (misguided or not) a media in collusion with education, manipulated by progressives, craving to engulf the whole earth in darkness either by deceiving, out and out lying, or by just not informing the minds of citizens. Contemporary education is seen to let our young run wild while neglecting to discipline their emotions. In oblivious innocents, conservative minds question how an American republic can morally govern inaugurated on lies and deception?

The Democrats’ progressive movement is seen as initiating a crusade to, “Do as you please.” This movement is seen, by individuals making the “evil” assertions, as whispering, “The Bible is a myth,” and that man created God instead of the other way. Democrats, according to these individuals, have confided that what is bad is good and what is good is bad, in conflict to traditional biblical teachings and corrupting the word of God. This is evident by Clinton’s statement that religious beliefs must be reformed and President Obama’s assertion, “They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them … .”

Per the left, God has been successfully evicted from our schools and at present there is a campaign to evict him from the courthouse, from the houses of Congress, and then, from his own churches. In conservatives’ defense, if you are supposed extreme in religion, in moral conduct, or in patriotism; it is indisputable that you will be chastened, humiliated and degraded by progressives.

Some believe that the Democrats’ socialist movement splits humanity into classes by age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual preference, affluence and such and then with malice pits one class against another class; all for political expediency.

Progressivism is seen as a theology that enlighten authors in how to create lurid media exciting the young mind while making anything else appear dull and uninteresting. TV is inundated with dirtier and dirtier movies encouraging the young to choose pornography over God.

Misguided or not, Democrats are viewed as wanting to pack the highest courts in the land with atheists in order to get the courts to rule, per the progressive philosophy, against God and the rule of law in favor of immorality, sensation and emotion. The world witnessed Democrats’ reprehensible campaign against Judge Brett Kavanaugh and his family. Then there is the monstrous hoax, “a conspiracy so immense” (using Sen. Joseph McCarthy’s words) perpetrated against President Trump that continues to endure with no end in sight.

Many believe the Democratic Party’s malicious attack on our heroes in uniform, protecting our communities while maintaining civility is immoral. There is a perceived call for anarchy exemplified by Democrats’ disregard for the rule of law.

Democrats’ economic policies of taking from those who have and giving to those who want are seen by conservatives to kill the incentive of the ambitious.

The “evil” indictment originators are concerned because; since the beginning of time, history bears out one irrefutable fact, that is that once a civilization loses its ability to acknowledge evil, that civilization withers on the vine and vanished from existence.

I could continue, but space prohibits.
