Johnny Michael Wallace, 72, of Danville, Va., passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at his home. He was born on January 24, 1947, in Thomasville, N.C., to the late Marjorie Hope Hoover Wallace and Jack Dempsey Wallace. Johnny worked as a salesman for Harley Davidson and was a lifelong member of H.O.G. He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Michelle Burfoot (Richard) of Richmond, Va., Marjorie Celeste Matyniak (Quinston) of Richmond, Va., Chandra Marcella Wallace (Susanne Wright) of Monroe, N.C., and Mellissa Corrine Brumfield (Perrow) of Danville, Va.; and a brother, Jerry Lee Wallace of Thomasville, N.C. Also surviving are grandchildren, C.J. Burleson, J.R. Bunch, Katrina Jones, Tyler Brumfield, Rebecca Murray, Joshua Brumfield, Frank Burfoot, Michael Burfoot, Corbin Wallace, and Alexis Sorter; and great-grandchildren, Rayne Jones and Scarlett Bunch-Ramirez. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel.
