Mr. Brandon Jerome Taylor, 40, of 102 Reina Court, Danville, Virginia, departed this life on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born on June 18, 1979, in Danville, Virginia, he was the son of Larry Taylor and Patricia Price Taylor, who both survive. Mr. Taylor was a member of the Hopel Chapel Missionary Baptist, Dry Fork, Virginia. He served as musician for eight years at New Vernon Baptist Church, Halifax, Virginia. In addition to his mother and father of Danville, Virginia, Mr. Taylor is survived by his daughter, Amayah Taylor of Danville, Virginia and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. A celebration of life for Mr. Taylor will be conducted on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. James Pettus, officiating and the Rev. Ben Elliott, eulogist. Interment will follow at the Price Family Cemetery, in Chatham, Virginia. A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home from 4 until 7 p.m. with the family being present from 6 until 7 p.m. Miller Funeral Home, Gretna is in charge of the arrangements.
