Clifton Pressley Jr., 88, of 234 Maple Lane Pelham, N.C., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, after being in declining health for several months. Mr. Pressley was born in Caswell County, N.C. on July 21, 1931, son of the late Clifton Pressley Sr. and Annie Elizabeth Jackson Pressley. He lived all of his life in the Caswell County area where he worked in the maintenance department at Disston until his retirement. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and fought in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Tabernacle. On March 1, 1955, he married Arnita Tatum Pressley who survives of the residence. He was predeceased by two brothers, John Henry and Remie L. Pressley. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Tabernacle with the Rev. Dr. Danny Campbell and the Rev. Joey Bray officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church on Friday and at other times will be at the residence, 234 Maple Lane Pelham, NC 27311.
