Philip Michael "Mike" Pendergraph, 70, of 1365 Dotmond Road, Milton, N.C., went home to be with the Lord suddenly on Friday, August 9, 2019. Mike was born in Durham, N.C., on November 29, 1948, a son of the late James Cecil Pendergraph and Elenor Grey Denson Pendergraph, who survives. He had lived in Durham and Pittsboro, N.C. prior to moving to Caswell County in 1978. Mike worked as a self-employed building contractor. He loved his horses as well as hunting and fishing. Mike was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He was of the Methodist Faith. On April 6, 1985, Mike married Susan Durham Pendergraph, who survives of the residence. Mike, is also survived, by his mother of Pittsboro, N.C.; one son, Rama Pendergraph of Burlington, N.C.; three daughters, Amy Abdow (Jeff) of Bethesda, Md., Addie Pendergraph (Greg Lyle) of Danville, Va., and Jacquelyn Michelle Pendergraph (Michael Allred) of Yanceyville, N.C.;, two sisters, Cindy P. Rogers (Greg) of Fort Mills, S.C., and Pat P. Heiderman; one brother, Millard Pendergraph (Fran) all of Pittsboro, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Amanda Abdow, Jake Abdow, and Novella Lyle. A funeral service for Mike will be conducted on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Connally United Methodist Church Cemetery in Milton, N.C. The family will receive friends following the funeral at their residence, 1365 Dotmond Road, Milton, NC, 27305. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, August 13, 2019, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times, they will be at the residence.
