Emma Jane Rossman Knick, 89, of 568 Bermuda Road, Danville, Va., went home to be with Lord on August 10, 2019, after being in declining health for the past several years. She had been a resident at Bright Leaf Place for over three years. Jane was born on December 1, 1935, in Drakes Branch, Va., a daughter of the late John Price and Nannie Williams Price. She had lived most of her life in Danville where she had been employed by the Old Dutch Supermarket, for 50 years as a bookkeeper and cashier. Jane was a long time member of The Tabernacle. She was formerly married to the late Rudolph Rossman until his death and she later married her loving husband, Stanley Knick who survives of the residence. Jane is also survived by one son, Rudolph John Rossman and wife, Tracie, of Hylton Head, S.C.; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, one sister, Gladys Radford; and one brother, J.W. Price. A funeral service for Jane will be conducted on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel by the Reverend Dr. Danny Campbell and the Rev. Joey Bray. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive on Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times they will be at the residence, 568 Bermuda Road, Danville, VA 24540.
