Jack D. Clark Jr., of Taylors, passed away on September 21, 2019. He was from Ringgold, Virginia, he was the son of the late Jack Sr. and Bernice Clark. Jack Jr. "J.D." was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia, after which he immediately began a 40+ year career in sales to which he retired from in 2007. He was of the Baptist faith. Outside of his career, he enjoyed taking day trips to the mountains with his wife and children, working in the yard, and tackling home improvement projects. He was an avid motorcycle and golf enthusiast. Jack especially adored his 3 granddaughters and all the joy they brought to him. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Patricia Clark; daughter, Angela C. Freeman and husband, Scott; daughter, Laura Chamberlain; son, Jack D. Clark III; granddaughters, Jordan F. Alton (Nate), Paige Freeman, and Molly Hansen (Kevin); one great-grandson, Liam Hansen; and his surviving sisters, Judy Hodnett (Cliff), Jackie Anderson (Charles), Mary Lily Barker (Maynard), and Rae Rhodes (Rockford). A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, September 29, 2019, at The Howze Mortuary in Travelers Rest, S.C. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W.
