A Danville woman will face a charge after a car crashed into West Main Barber Shop on Wednesday afternoon.

Ariana Blackstock, 19, will be charged with reckless driving after a wreck in which she hit a parked car while heading west on West Main Street and then crashed into the barber shop, Danville Police Department Lt. Erica Moss said at the scene.

Two customers — as well as the owner — were in the barber shop at the time of the incident. They were not injured.

Blackstock was transported to Sovah Health Danville after complaining of air-bag related injuries.

The incident caused about $7,500 to $10,000 worth of glass and metal damage to the building, Moss said.
