A man admitted playing a part in the March shooting death of 17-year-old Hikeem King during a hearing in Danville Circuit Court on Tuesday.
Germany Bryontez Carter, 23, pleaded guilty to two counts of nonviolent felon in possession of a firearm and single counts of other firearms-related charges.
He is the third person to plead guilty in the case - in separate July hearings, Antonio Lamonta Burton admitted to shooting at King and Ladreka Shawnta Brandon admitted to being the getaway driver. Both have yet to be sentenced.
Justin Montel Jones, charged with first-degree murder in the case, has a trial set for November.
Carter's sentencing hearing is slated for Oct. 29, at 9 a.m.
