Danville City Council will vote Tuesday night on whether to appropriate $4.1 million in federal and state aviation funding for construction projects at Danville Regional Airport.

Money will be used for rehabilitation and expansion of the terminal apron (where airplanes park, load and unload), sealing cracks, remarking the primary runway and rehabilitating an additional taxi-lane section in the t-hangar area.

In addition, the city will provide $282,664 in local funding for the projects.
