VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Woodlawn Baptist Church, 2500 Westover Drive, will hold vacation Bible school, “Into The Wild,” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday with dinner at 5:30 p.m. It will feature Bible study, crafts, games and a water slide.

Calvary Baptist Church, 218 Holbrook St., will have the Rev. Travis Burgess from Mayo Grove Baptist Church, Ridgeway, as guest preacher for the Sunday service.

Trinity Baptist Church, 399 S. Main St., will have the Rev. Earnest Barksdale of Camp Grove Missionary Baptist Church as guest preacher for the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday.

Sunny Level Baptist Church, 485 Milton Highway, Ringgold, will have evangelist Carolyn Richmond, associate minister of High Street Baptist Church in Milton, North Carolina, as guest preacher for the 11:30 a.m. Sunday worship service.

FELLOWSHIP SERVICE

Fairview Baptist Church, 3853 Zion Road, Gretna, will have a fellowship service at 3 p.m. Sunday with Bishop James Perkins and Jerusalem Free Deliverance congregation as guests.

CHANGE OF WORSHIP TIME FOR SUMMER

Tarpley Chapel Baptist Church, 16156 Mount Cross Road, Dry Fork, will change the time of worship services for the months of July and August. The services will start at 10:30 a.m.

ANNIVERSARIES/ HOMECOMING

Mill Creek Church, 1649 Mill Creek Road, will celebrate the ninth anniversary of Apostle Jermon L. Russell at 3 p.m. Sunday with guest speaker Bishop Boyce White from Mount Pisgah Joyland Temple in Martinsville. At 7 p.m. July 12, the guest speaker will be the Rev. Jeffery Dodson from Petersburg and at 6 p.m. July 13 Voices of Valor will be present for the 10 year reunion. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, 220 Vandola Road, will celebrate its 143rd church anniversary and homecoming Sunday. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. Guests for the 3 p.m. service will be the Rev. Eric F. Hairston Sr. and Pilgrim Baptist Church congregation of Martinsville. Special guest for the 11 a.m. service will be the Rev. Terry L. Moore, associate minister of Pilgrim Baptist Church.

Bennett Memorial Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming Sunday with special guest the Rev. Robert Millner and Mount Freeman Baptist Church family. Dinner will be served at 1:30 p.m.

YOUTH REVIVAL/ YOUTH SUNDAY

New Ephesus Baptist Church, 375 Ephesus Church Road, Semora, North Carolina, will celebrate youth revival at 7 p.m. July 11 to 12. On July 11, the Rev. Michael Wheeler, from Faith Temple United Holy Church in Roxboro, North Carolina, will preach. On July 12, the Rev. Jayla Stewart, from Burlington, North Carolina, will preach. On July 14, the annual youth day will be observed with speaker M’nyah Money. The theme for the revival and youth day is “Living My Best Life Through Jesus Christ.”

Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church will hold revival services July 15 to 17 with Rev. Willie E. Yancey accompanied by New Zion Baptist Church family as guests.
