In May, fourth grade students at Union Hall Elementary School spent a week participating in STEM — science, technology, engineering and math — projects in Mindy Takacs’s science class. The students put together different types of snap circuits: circuits that make noises, fans that may speed up or fly up in the air and some with sounding alarms. They also made solar-powered circuits.
