Students made sun catchers recently at the Title I Enrichment Camp. This year, the camp was called "Leveling Up with Summer Fun." The goal to expose students to hands on activities that would increase creative and critical thinking skills. The Title I Family Resource Center is located on the J.M. Langston Campus and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. During the school year, Danville Public Schools’ students in grades K through five are welcome to participate in after-school tutoring and enrichment activities at the center. The program is offered from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Services are only provided to those students whose parents accompany them and participate. Parents will have the opportunity to explore the center and participate in various workshops and other activities. Students who participated in the program during the school year are selected to participate in the three-week enhancement summer camp. The camp consist of academics, field trips and hands on activities.
