The Wendell Scott Foundation partnered with nation, state and local organizations to present Camp Cultivation in June. Student learned about the vast academic disciplines and careers in STEM — science, technology, engineering and math — and agriculture while getting opportunities for hands-on learning. They raced simulators, created musical circuit boards and got an up-close look at hydroponics and pisciculture at Randolph Farms. Four of the campers were offered early acceptance letters to Virginia State University.
