The marriage of Miss Louisa Darragh Kendig and Mr. Jason David Bryant Adkins, took place on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at The Country Club of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. The Reverend Eleanor Lee Wellford officiated. Dinner and dancing followed the outside ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gantt Kendig of Richmond. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Preston Jr. of Goochland, Virginia, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Perry F. Kendig of Salem, Virginia.
The groom is the son of Ms. Cheryl Lynn Bryant of Danville, Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. Tony David Adkins of Port Orange, Florida. He is the grandson of Mrs. Margaret Boulware Bryant, the late Mr. Frank Sager Bryant of Danville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Samuel Adkins of Danville.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Mrs. Austin Shriver, matron of honor, and Miss Caitlin Ware, maid of honor, are both of Richmond.
Bridesmaids were cousins, Miss Elizabeth Preston of Richmond, and Mrs. Sian Eure of Goochland; the bride’s sister-in-law, Mrs. Cate Kendig, and friend, Miss M’Lissa Levitt, both of Richmond; Miss. Beverley Borum of Chicago, Illinois, and Mrs. Lucia Coan of Seoul, South Korea.
Mr. Luke Fitzwater of Livonia, New York, was the groom’s best man.
Groomsmen were Mr. Joseph Bogard of Newark, Ohio, Mr. Dominic Formosa, Mr. Jarrod Granese, Mr. Ben Marcuson, Mr. Kevin Willis, Mr. Preston Kendig, brother of the bride, all of Richmond; and Mr. Andre Graves of Charlotte, North Carolina.

The bride is a graduate of The Steward School in Richmond and Roanoke College in Salem. She is employed by Capital One.
The groom is a graduate of George Washington High School in Danville and Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. He is a veteran of the United States Marines Corps and is currently employed by CBRE Healthcare.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Richmond.
