Miss Meredith Arwen Meissner and Mr. Stetson Dakota Franklin were united in marriage on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 4:30 in the afternoon at West Main Baptist Church.
The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Bruce Wilson. The music was provided by the Danville String Quartet.
Maid of honor was Miss Morgan Gentry, friend of the Bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Shikha Trivedi and Miss Mackenzie Blair, friends of the Bride. Flower girl was Miss Audrey Rose Sours, cousin of the Bride.
The Best Man was Mr. Teddy Franklin, grandfather of the Groom. Groomsmen were Mr. Dave Gluhareff and Mr. Dillon Powell, friends of the Groom. Ushers were Robert Nevin, and Neal Meissner, brothers of the Bride. Attending the guest register was Sierra Franklin, sister of the Groom.
The Bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Meissner III. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Judith Meissner and the late Mr. James Robert Meissner II, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald P. Nevins.
The Groom is the son of the late Sarah Franklin. He is the grandson of Mr. Teddy Franklin and the late Mrs. Hazel Franklin and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wilson.
The Bride was escorted by her Father and given in marriage by her parents.
Meredith is an Honor graduate of George Washington High School, and a December 2018 Graduate of Averett University with a degree in Accounting. She is employed by Jones and Associates.
Stetson is a graduate of George Washington High School and Averett University with a B.S. degree in Business and is employed at American National Bank.
The reception was held at The Farmstead at Gentlemen’s Ridge.
Following a trip to Asheville, North Carolina and Biltmore, the couple will reside in Danville.
