Cindy Rios, chief financial officer for SOVAH Health-Danville, has been named as “CFO of the Year” by parent company LifePoint Health.
The yearly award is given to a CFO within the compant’s network of more than 70 hospitals who “best exemplifies the company’s core values of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness, inclusion, compassion and legal and ethical compliance,” according to company news release.
“Cindy’s commitment to SOVAH Health-Danville is unparalleled,” Conrad Deese, CFO of LifePoint’s Eastern Group, said in a statement. “She is fiercely committed to advancing the mission and vision of the hospital, and she inspires and empowers others to follow her lead. We are delighted to honor her leadership and contributions to the hospital with this special award.”
Rios joined the city hospital, formerly known as Danville Regional Medical Center, in June 2016.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management and Spanish from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington State University.
