Funeral-service museum in works in Chatham

 CHATHAM – A Chatham man plans to open a funeral-service museum along Main Street early next year.

Simpson Funeral Museum will open in February and be just the second of its type in the country, said Bill Simpson, a long-time funeral director and casket manufacturer. The nation’s only funeral museum, the National Museum of Funeral History, is in Houston.
