Details are scarce, parts of the puzzle are missing and the main witnesses are children, but that didn’t deter thousands of outraged parents from going to Facebook on Thursday to discuss concerns regarding a physical altercation that happened at Twin Springs Elementary on Tuesday.

Principal Kathy Lowry said she wasn’t at liberty to discuss the incident because the investigation is ongoing. Lowry said the incident was immediately reported to law enforcement, and she is continuing to work with the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office while the investigation is underway.
