“Us vs. Them” was the name of the game Tuesday in Southside as Republicans and Democrats once again clashed over Medicaid expansion in Virginia.

It’s not the first time the issue has been debated. But with the regular General Assembly session over, lawmakers will go into a special budget session next week, where the Medicaid dilemma has once again become the deciding factor. Democrats want to include expansion in the budget, while Republicans disagree.
