KINGSPORT, Tenn — The Danville Braves ended a three-game skid with a 7-0 shutout over the Kingsport Mets on Saturday.

Danville took an early 2-0 lead on Chris Shehan’s two-run homer in the first inning. The D-Braves added another run in the fourth on a Mathew Kennelly RBI double and scored again in the seventh on Gerardo Rodriguez’s sacrifice fly.

Danville sealed the win with three more runs in the eighth inning.
