The Averett University women’s tennis team fell to the Hornets of Shenandoah University on Saturday by a final score of 7-1.

The Averett University men’s tennis team had only five players at its disposal, but still picked up a 5-4 non-conference victory against Guilford College on Wednesday. In women’s action, Guilford College defeated Averett 9-1.
