DANVILLE — The Averett men’s tennis team defeated Ferrum 8-1 on Wednesday. Averett (2-8, 2-1 USA South) had the match wrapped up before doubles play started.
The Averett women (0-5, 0-4 USA South) fell 7-2 to Ferrum.
