Va. Tech suspends receiver for policy violation

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Virginia Tech has suspended receiver Zach Luckett indefinitely for a violation of team policy.

Coach Frank Beamer announced the suspension of the 6-foot-3, 212-pound redshirt sophomore Monday, and said he would make no further comment on the situation. Luckett had been expected to be a starter this season.

Luckett, of Mays Landing, New Jersey, played in all 14 games last season. He caught two passes for 15 yards made 15 tackles on special teams.
