DANVILLE — Danville Community College beat Greensboro College’s junior varsity squad by scores of 4-2 and 7-6 on Wednesday.
Herbie Williams hit two singles and stole three bases to break the DCC stolen base record. He know has 36.
Chris Martin, Lea Turner and James Dudding all doubled for DCC (19-14).
In the nightcap, Martin singled him the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. Williams added a triple, a single, an RBI and two steals, while Wesley Francis doubled, singled and drove in three runs.
