DCC baseball splits doubleheader with Patrick Henry

DANVILLE — Danville Community College split a doubleheader with Patrick Henry Community College on Wednesday at Dan Daniel Park, winning the first game 3-2 in eight innings and dropping the second 6-1.
DCC (20-15, 5-3 VCCS) scored on a sacrifice fly by James Dudding in the eighth for the victory. Wesley Francis (5-3) earned the win and smacked a double, a single and collected an RBI. Chris Martin had two singles in the win.
Dallas Wagner (3-4) took the loss in the second game. DCC had three base hits in the contest.
