Va Tech - Nebraska game moved to prime time

LINCOLN, Neb.—The Nebraska home game against Virginia Tech will be part of a regionalized ABC prime time package.

ABC Sports and the Big 12 Conference said today that the broadcast for the Sept. 27 game will begin at 8 p.m. EDT.

The broadcast will be split nationally. The other game is Illinois-Penn State.

The Virginia Tech game will be the first ABC appearance for the Huskers in 2008. The Huskers’ first three games this season have been available only on pay-per-view TV.

Nebraska is 3-0 on the season; Virginia Tech is 2-1.
