Former Gretna football star Hall named one of U.Va.‘s co-captains

CHARLOTTESVILLE — University of Virginia coach Al Groh announced before Saturday’s spring game that seniors John Phillips, Cedric Peerman and Clint Sintim and junior Vic Hall will be the Cavaliers’ team captains for the 2008 season.
Hall, a former Gretna High School star, started all 13 games last season at cornerback in addition to his special teams duties. He made 58 tackles and had one interception last year for the Cavs.
