Rep. Virgil Goode was endorsed today by former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger.

“I believe it is absolutely essential that Congressman Virgil Goode be re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives,” Eagleburger said in a prepared statement. “The dangers of Democratic Party dominance of the Congress are great. We need staunch conservatives such as Congressman Goode.”

Last week Eagleburger made news when he said Sarah Palin was not up to the task of taking over the presidency. He apologized for the remark and recanted on FOX News.
