Jesus opened the understanding of the scriptures to His disciples just before His ascension, please see Luke 24:45. Now after the ascension of Jesus our spiritual understanding is released through the Holy Spirit. Even the knowledge of the existence of such an understanding seems to be hid from most Christians. This can easily be confirmed by the existence of many different doctrines, denominations and the lack of unity.
There are many unfilled churches within sight of each other, mostly because someone thinks they can do better than someone else in spreading the gospel. It seems to me that some could be doing more to contain, than to promote. Their doctrine is always correct and the other has flaws, so says them all. Nevertheless, Jesus Christ is preached. I have not spent time in all churches, yet I have sought to understand our times.
The purpose of this letter is not to find fault with our churches, but to encourage the individual to seek the spiritual understanding. We must stay in our churches because we are commanded to assemble and to worship together. Moving from one church to another will have no effect on receiving a deeper spiritual understanding.
The Holy Spirit will release this understanding as we diligently seek the Word with a pure heart. I do not have the space to include this scripture, please study Proverbs 2:1-11. Let Psalm 119:97-100 become your fundamental goal.
If a person gains understanding in a certain area, then refrain from rebuking the teacher of a faulty doctrine, remembering you are few and they are a majority. Before disturbing a church, remember that Christ is preached, and their calling could be for that reason. Some might have expanded into areas they do not understand.
