I would like to thank a very special group of young men.
These young men are the 21 graduating seniors on our football team. This group of guys were great leaders for our state championship team, but more importantly they are graduating from high school and starting a new chapter in their lives. These men are Jordan Gunter, Kerry Hammock, Quinton Price, John Cooper, Mike Brown, Marlon Roach, Marcus Pickard, John Connally, Dre Manns, Tayon Graves, Greg Simmons, William Hariston, Greg Black, Rashard Williamson, Travis Dean, Tyrus Chestnut, Phillip McLaughlin, J.C. Adams, Joe Brown, James Slade and Victor Walker.
Football has only been a small part of their lives, and it has been my privilege to coach these young men the past four years. It is my prayer that as they start a new chapter in their lives they will continue to be blessed. Fifteen of these young men will go to four-year schools such as N.C. State, ECU, N.C. A&T, Winston-Salem State, and Livingstone College. Four are planning to attend a technical school or community college and two are still undecided as to what they will do after graduation.
Thanks again for making Reidsville High School proud.
Jimmy Teague
Head football coach, Reidsville HS
