Westover seniors need city activities at Coates center

To the editor:
Just a note to bring to the attention of all the residents of Westover Drive, Surry Hills and the surrounding areas. There are no senior exercise classes or other senior activities at the Coates Recreation Center. I think this is an awful waste. Don’t we qualify as Danvillians? We all pay taxes too.
I’m told there are already classes at the Senior Citizens Center and at Squire Armory Recreation Center. Then why not here where are is already a facility?
When I called Coates, I was told there wasn’t any interest. Well, there is now!
Please, seniors, let’s get some interest going! There are so many seniors that are alone and need outside interests.
