Reidsville police looking for people of interest in Hayes case

Reidsville police want to talk to four people regarding the Sept. 25 shooting death of Lawrence “Lee Lee” Hayes. Early in their investigation, detectives and agents from the State Bureau of Investigation developed several persons of interest in the case. Over the last couple of weeks, through additional interviews with family, friends and witnesses, investigators have narrowed a list of persons they want to interview, and are requesting community assistance in locating and urging them to contact the police, a news release said.
The men are: Donald Vaneaton, 22, Lincoln Street, Reidsville; Anthony Percell, 25, Abbott Glen Courts Apartments, Greensboro; Oliver Watlington, 42, Washington Avenue, Reidsville; and Wayne Lee, 23, Terry Street, Reidsville
Anyone who has contact with these men or knowledge of their whereabouts is asked to assist the department by calling:
