Eden police arrest man for failing to register as a sex offender

Eden police have arrested a Collinsville, Va., men wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for failing to register as a sex offender.
The man, Lawrence Patterson Jr. of 1635 Plantation Drive, is in the Rockingham County Jail under $150,000 bail, a news release said.
Thursday, Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police contacted Eden police about Patterson, who was living at 314 Taft St. in Eden. Patterson was arrested without incident.
