Matt Haight picks Fuji apples Wednesday at his parents’ farm, Haight Orchards, in Reidsville. Haight said there is only about one week left to pick apples and that the weather was a lot better this year than last. The farm was not open last year because of freezing. The 120-acre farm has been growing apples and peaches for 21 years. The farm offers a variety of both picked apples and pick your own from late July to late September, depending on the weather.
