8-year-old in critical condition

  REIDSVILLE - An 8-year-old girl hit by a car Tuesday was listed in critical condition Wednesday afternoon at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
About 3:14 pm.Tuesday, Eerardo Loma Platanero, of 1715 Amos St, Reidsville, ran into the street. Police said she was hit by a Dodge Caravan driven by Shalina Leshawn Walker of 680 Henry T. Graves Road, Yanceyville. Platanero was taken to Wake Forest later that afternoon.
  Police said Walker was driving the speed limit when the child ran in front of her. No charges have been filed.
