DANVILLE — Rescue crews had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate a driver from a vehicle involved in a two-car collision at about 5 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Mount Cross Road and Enterprise Drive near Piedmont Mall.
It took 20 minutes to remove the driver’s side passenger door, and the drivers of both vehicles were taken to Danville Regional Medical Center. Officer Jeremy Williams said that charges are pending. The names of those injured in the accident have not been released.
