Police investigate purse snatching

Danville police are investigating a Tuesday night purse snatching that occured in a grocery store parking lot. According to a release from the police department, a 43 year old woman told police she was walking to her car in the parking lot of the Westover Drive Food Lion at 7:30 p.m. when she was pushed into her car by an unknown male. She told police he grabbed her purse and ran away, according to the release. He was last seen running across Turpin Street. The victim described the suspect as a thin, dark-skinned black black male, 20-25 years old and wearing a black t-shirt and blue jean shorts.

Seems like not even daylight is a safety net anymore.  But repeat offenders do eventually get caught.

Sounds like a repear offender. He will eventually get caught.

Seems like the Danville Police Department will have yet another unsolved crime!
