Police arrested two Danville men Monday night and charged them with shooting into mobile homes near Westover Drive.

At 9:42 p.m. police responded to a call from a resident of 4374 Westover Drive, who said that someone was shooting into her home, according to a statement from the police. Another round struck a second mobile home behind the original caller’s after passing through the underpinning.

After getting descriptions of the suspects, Danville police found and arrested Timothy James Oakes, 19, and Adam Carrington Fitzgerald, 24. Arresting officers also found the weapon police said the men used in the shooting. No one was injured as a result of the shooting.

Police charged both men with use of a firearm in commission of a felony, shooting from a moving vehicle and two counts each of shooting into an occupied dwelling.
