RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia Gov. Timothy Kaine wants everyone to know what state government and private sector partners are doing to help vulnerable Virginians stay warm this winter.
Kaine has scheduled a news conference Wednesday in Richmond to discuss the actions. Virginians face increases of between 11 percent and 30percent, or $150 and $450 a month, depending on the fuel type.
Last month, the governor encouraged Virginians to do what they can to conserve energy. That includes enrolling in a level monthly payment plan with the electric company, and making sure their homes are sealed tight, air filters are replaced and heating and cooling equipment is properly maintained.

Kaine is not as nice as Tom. He does not really care about people like Tom Periello. Tom could give solutions wereas Kaine just makes noise.

HMMMM, simple answer; cut the frigging raising cost of electricity and gas and oil so people can run their heating units in their home.
