The non-profit organization known as God’s Pit Crew hosted an open house event on Saturday afternoon to share their work and goals with the public.
The crew’s signature red trucks, which have been seen at relief efforts for disasters nationwide, were available for a close-up look, both inside and out.
One of the organization’s newest tool trucks appeared fully prepared to respond to a crisis, filled with power tools, extension cords, hammers and nails, as well as brooms and dustpans.
The ample on-site warehouse was even more impressively stocked, with amenities ranging from basic personal hygiene items, such as soap and shampoo, to replacement doors and windows.
A case filled with letters of gratitude from people who have benefitted from the aid given by God’s Pit Crew over the years was displayed inside a hallway.
