Flu shots available to veterans free of charge

Veterans who are enrolled in the Salem Veterans Administration Medical Center or the Danville Community Based Outpatient Clinic can receive a free flu shot.
Shots will be offered Oct. 16, 21 and 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. An appointment is not necessary.
The Danville clinic is located at 705 Piney Forest Road in the Food Lion Shopping Center next to Papa John’s Pizza.
