Danville man steals copper wiring from YWCA

Police arrested a man last night for stealing copper from a Main Street business. Shortly before 12:30 a.m. officers saw a suspicious person near the rear door of the YWCA at 750 Main Street, according to a statement from the police department. Upon further investigation and calling for assistance, police found the back door had been forced open. Police found 39-year-old Tyrone Broadnax of Danville inside the building and that several copper pipes had been cut inside the building. They also found a broken hacksaw by the door.
Police charged Broadnax with breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny and possession of burglary tools.

Lets give Tyrone the same benefit of the doubt as Percy Walton.We do not know his mental state at the time,and he was just doing some un-authorized re-modeling.The Police showing up scared him,and he needs help.With Gas prices at $4.02 a gallon,why are you worried about a little copper?Yo,the brother was just trying to work the night shift.You go Tyrone,the liberals will get you off man!!!!!

There are some people that work and support themselves and/or their family and then there are some people like this dungheap that will do anything but work. These people need to get a grip. Get a job, duhhh! Too sorry to work or perhaps to strung out on drugs! No help for folks like these because they dont want help. Ship him and other theives with a one-way ticket to CUBA! Even better, give Cuba ALL the rotguts this country has locked up. Just think of the money saved.
