Danville man shot twice on Vandola Road

Police arrested a Danville resident last night in conjunction with a shooting that occurred on Vandola Road.
Barry VonEime, 48, of Vandola Road is charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a felon with a violent offence, according to a release from the police department.
At about 10 p.m. police responded to a call of a possible shooting, said Lieutentant M.T. White. They found a 28-year-old Danville man shot twice,
The victim was treated and released from Danville Regional Medical Center.

He was not treated and released. He was turned away from Danville Regional because he didn’t have health insurance!
