With “Rock of Love 2” coming to a close — Poison frontman Bret Michaels selected Ambre as his “rock of love,” leaving a distraught Daisy in tears — the girls of the house will be getting back together one more time as part of a reunion show.
Danville-born Peyton Turner, who used her stint on the show to add a little extra sizzle to her music career, is now working on some new material in Nashville, and she’ll share the song she wrote in honor of her VH1 appearance, “We Rocked for Love,” as part of the reunion event.
“I am very excited, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity,” Turner said.
The show starts at 9 p.m. Sunday on VH1.
The song — “about Bret and the show and my experience on it,” Turner said — is just one of the songs available for download on her Myspace site.
The other, “The Man in You,” features the Danville band Days of Eden, with whom she jammed before she left town.
It made its public debut a few weeks ago, when VH1 aired a clips show, which featured an acoustic version that Turner performed in the house to rave reviews.
“This has been the break of my lifetime,” she said.
